Hello!

This is a piece of advise to all those busy young mums. Please find the time every month to take photos of your little darlings particularly when they are reaching their first milestones, or if you can video little snippets. We found some video from 14 years ago when my sons were babies/toddlers and we all watched it with jaws open as we could not believe how much they have changed in the last 14 years. My sons found it hard to believe it was actually them in the pictures and video! It brought back so many happy memories which I had forgotten about over time and I am so glad I came across them. I am going to get them all digitally saved so we can watch them again many years from now.

  • My Great Uncle made movies of his family as they grew up, fot the first 2 years he took a couple of shots a month, then yearly, birthdays, Christmas, holidays etc. We also give group ones at special occasions. As far as I know his Granddaughter now has his projector and reels of film unless they have perished with time.

  • I am still heartbroken that we have no photos of my daughters first 4 months of life :,( We used a wind on film camera and I wasn’t very good at putting new films in. So they never wound on and hence we missed out on so much. Very sad

  • Also; take the time to put together photo books; otherwise photos are scattered here, there and everywhere!

    • That’s my problem, not putting together photo books!
