I’ve adored being a stay at home mum since my eldest son was born in 2010… Now I have a second beautiful bouncy boy who’s 3 months. I love being with my boys as they discover new things and I love the fact I don’t miss out on firsts!! But, sometimes – particularly when I haven’t had much adult conversation that day – I dream about my old life – and sometimes, just sometimes, wish I were back in the working world!

I count my lucky stars that we’ve been able to have me at home with the boys, don’t get me wrong! But hubby and I have talked about me returning to work – the world of journalism – and we both know that if I wanted to get back into it properly, we’d have to relocate and we love our life in QLD.

I’ve always loved photography – I love a gorgeous photo – and since having my boys and being to a few (quite a few haha!) photo shoots, I knew it was something I wanted to delve deeper into.

So I took the plunge and bought myself a gorgeous camera – a big proper fancy one! I’ve started enquiring into mentoring sessions with some really great photographers and I’m lucky enough to have a friend who runs her own business who’s gonna help me out with learning… So, I’ve taken the first step – but am I ready for the plunge?
