I have never tried desserts just dinners. I’ve found butter chicken to be a success in the slow cooker. What’s your favourite dessert in the slow cooker? I’m keen to try something new top!

they also have a facebook page where people can ask questions, share recipes etc. love it.
i am also slow cooker obsessed and cook 5/7 meals a week in mine.
Can even make cakes, fudge and breads as well!

Agreed. My slow cooker is always out in winter.

I also love what you can make in a slow cooker, its so easy but after a bad experience using one once, where i used a cheats recipe base and even though i followed the recipe to a tee, I was lucky i was at home as with in two hours it was smoking and starting to over heat. I dont know what caused it as i have used it since and not had a problem, although the next time i used the same recipe base i added twice as much water to what i was told just to be safe. But since that experience i will not leavi=e it on in the house without me there.

I’ve started enjoying the slow cooker just a couple of months ago. And it’s impressive indeed. The meat turns out so tender.You can find a lot of great recipes in Mouths of Mums.
