I have always been a ‘stresser’ a ‘worrywart’ a ‘borrower or trouble.’

I recently have been through a time in my life where I went through some very stressful situations with work and, as so often happens, with family as well. Everything seemed to be going wrong and the Domino Effect was in full force in my life.

Cue hair breakage and loss.

I would look at my drain each morning at the growing collection of hair and want to cry- did I have to be bald too?

So I did what any reasonable person would do (only about 6 months later) and took myself off to my GP.

“Dear oh dear,” she said. “You need to take some time to chill out.”

So I did what she said, took lots of the ‘extras’ that had somehow crept their way into my life that took up valuable real estate and culled. And I mean culled- got rid of things, activities and people who were stressing me out or draining my energy.

I have relaxed, my hair is growing back and I smile freely and truly enjoy my simplified life.
