Hello!

As many mum’s would know, it is Book Week in the Primary Schools and many are having a “parade” as a part of it in which the kids dress up as something space themed. Well my 6 year old DD agonised for days over her costume for the parade and come this morning comes out wearing normal clothes. I asked her what she was and she said it was a surprise till we got to school. Now, knowing my DD this inspires just a little fear in me as she has quite the imagination but I allow it. We arrive at her classroom and her teacher asks her why she is in casual clothes instead of dress up as required. DD’s response to this is “I didn’t need to dress up because my mummy tells me all the time I am a space cadet”…… The look on the teachers face was priceless, needless to say I made a quick escape after that!

  • That is priceless !! You never know, she just might do that if she studies the right subjects at school and university. NASA has a great reputation for employment. It could be awhile before she is considered to be a cadet. No harm in her doing some research when she is old enough and interested
