Hello!

Hi everyone!

Ok, I had my baby girl 10 months ago now and can’t believe how fast she is growing up!

Before I had her I thought, I have plenty of time, she won’t crawl until she is about 10 months and wont walk until sometime after 1 year. I was wrong! My little darling was crawling at 7 and a half months and taking steps at 9 and a half! I still can’t believe it.

But there were so many babies born around the same time as my daughter, including her cousin exactly 1 week before her. I always feel as though her mother compares her to my little girl, trying to make her daughter ‘better’ then mine. I know there are parents out there that feel the same!

But, I guess I just don’t get it. EVERY child is different and unique! If they all did everything at the same time life would be boring!

So I would just like to say to everyone out there with kids, enjoy them! They grow up way to fast! Life is to short to worry about other people and how ‘much faster’ their chldren are learning. They will learn to sit up, talk, clap, crawl, walk, etc at their own pace, so don’t push them :)

Enjoy every minute xx

  • When my girls were little, I often felt that every milestone was a competition with others.
