I went to one (not chinese) with friends a few months ago. You picked your choice of meat, vegetables/salad and sauces and put them in a bowl, then the chef cooked them on a huge circular hotplate BBQ. If you didn’t put enough sauce in they added a little bit of water. I was hesitatant but it was delicious.
It was all you could eat for $…… I can’t remember how much it was. We didn’t order the dessert deal, just the basic one. None of us wanted dessert anyway.

oh what a great day! i would love to visit a chinese resturaunt! it has been a long time! i love chinese food! hope that you get to enjoy going again, real soon!

Kids will eventually learn to eat out with you at restaurants and then it can be a wonderful family experience.

Its nice to hear that mums can have a lovely meal with kids around. I always find it hard to sit down and have a good chat with my friends as the kids are always demanding attention. That was until we found kid friendly restaraunts with the play areas attached.
