Hello!

Well we thought we’d get our 3 year old a kitten because our baby was very demanding as all babies are, & our 3 year old wad missing out on a lot of our attention. This had backfired totally. This kitten runs throughout the house, grabbing whatever is in its path. It continually latches arms & feet & scratches everyone & everything. It is up till early hours of the morning running a muck. I’m hoping it will grow out of this as it’s driving me crazy.

  • Every kitten I’ve had was liked that, usually lasts until they’re 6 months or so, then they’re lazy :p

  • My daughter wanted a kitten until she saw her aunties bunny, so a bunny it was!

  • I hope your kitten grows out of it quickly!!! Maybe a guinea pig or other pet would have been a better choice.

  • Our cat is now 17mths and I am sorry to say he is still has very crazy moments.. He is an inside cat though, so I wonder if your cat goes outside, it might make a difference. They usually settle down as they get older.

  • once it gets a bit older it will settle…

  • I feel for you… our daughter got a puppy for her two year old and says it is like having two children now! On the bright side the puppy has settled down and they are all enjoying family outing to their local park.

  • kittens are babies too, you probably should have got and older cat, that has been around children a lot, as this would have been easier. but now the kitten is here, you need to work on training it ( a water bottle with water sprayed at it when it does something naughty will teach it very quickly)
