Hello!

Just the other day I was lining up in the Library when another lady with a pram decided to stand right beside me, and when I pushed towards the next available staff she stopped me and said “excuse me, I was in line for that one first”. Ok, yes, you were standing directly in FRONT of that particular staff, but you were not in LINE. I couldn’t believe it, she saw me standing there too before she stood beside me, did look like I was just standing in this open space for no reason at all? And even if she did think so, after I moved towards the staff it should be very apparent that I was waiting. The nerve! That afternoon I was also shouted at for pushing my pram through the right side of a very narrow footpath because on my left the path was full of holes and bumps which was being fixed. I walked past this woman who after walking past me shouted “to the left!”. Seriously? I mean you can carefully walk on that bumpy-and-full-of-holes side, but there’s no way I could push a pram WITH A BABY INSIDE through it! What has our society come to? Think, people, before you open your stupid and inconsiderate mouth next time!

  • I wish that manners would come back into fashion!

  • I find lack of manners and respect are everywhere. I saddens me so much. I have made it a priority with my children to teach them these things… such getting off your bus seat for someone older and not barging pass people. Please, thank you and excuse me shouldn’t be optional.

  • people tend to be only concerned with themselves nowadays, its annoying but its life and there isnt much you can do about it.

  • This happened to me in Kmart one christmas, I had been in the line for no less than 15 minutes and had 3 people in front of me when a women with her kids came along and pushed in front of everyone. I said excuse me, the line is hear (I will never do that again) she then told me to “F” off (my young children were with me at time) I said that I just wanted her to know that we had all been waiting a long time, She then started calling my kids names, kept swearing at me and then other people tried to stop her, but she was out of control. The staff asked her to go to the back of the line, she blamed me and then followed me around the shop for 20 minutes swearing. I have never experienced such behaviour before and hope I never do again. I was so disgusted!

  • This is highly irritating, makes my blood boil. But then I remember to breath and then it will not ruin my day because someone else is highly inconsiderate and rude. (still gets me going for a moment though)
