Hello!

This year I began to study a Bachelor of Nursing full time which I have wanted to do since I left school, I am n ow 33 and have 2 little girls. to be able to afford to go to uni I have had to take a night job sorting macadamias which is not only boring it gives me wicked motion sickness from watching a conveyer belt for 4 hours. I work from 7pm to midnight which is meant to work well as during the day I am supposed to study and don’t have to have the kids in childcare more then the 2 days they are already there as I have put all my classes on 2 days. The thing is I feel I am so tired throughout the day to study and can’t take naps as only one of my kids sleep, is it to much and I don’t want to tell my husband it is how else am I going to afford to pay for it all. Just wanted to rant really. I am so happy to being doing Nursing only 2.5 years to go

  • Would it be easier to study part-time instead ? Great you are doing Nursing as this industry is in much needed future nurses and doctors. I don’t know how you do it with the kids as I was totally exhausted with just part time work . Ask hub to help a bit with housework /kids so that you can acheive some balance . Hope it works out .
