Hello!

I always have some of this superfood trail mix on hand- I use it as a breakfast topper over porridge or muesli or as an anytime, nourishing snack.

It’s packed with essential nutrients for healthy Mum’s and bubs during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as being great for helping to curb afternoon cravings and is a healthy chocolate fix too!  Brilliant!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup natural almonds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup natural sultanas
  • ½ cup goji berries
  • ¼ cup diced dried apricots
  • ¼ cup chopped 80% plus dark chocolate (if you’re feeling naughty!)

Method

Combine all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.

  • This Superfood trail mix is a lot healthier than the one I buy in the shop, probably about time I made my own now that I have this recipe to follow. I might miss the white chocolate bits.

  • At least if you make it yourself you know everything that’s in your trail mix.

  • This is really so easy and much more economical making your own. You can choose exactly what goes in it.

  • This looks so delicious

  • Im wondering how many serving sizes this is? It sounds a lot for one serving!!

    • I would think at least a 7 or 8 servings.

  • Now this is a simpler trail mix and one I think I can manage. Sometimes I find there’s way too many ingredients to make your own, and makes it very expensive. I’ll try this one!

  • Always lovely ! I try to make them with less dried fruit as it has a high sugar content and sticks to the teeth. Instead of dark chocolate we always use raw chocolate nibs, which is totally a sugarfree superfood

  • I tend to buy it rather than make it. However, this list helps me greatly and I think I can start makign our own.
