The Happy Beach resort in Cebu is an Instagrammable family holiday in fifty shades of pink…

The Philippines has become a popular travel destination for Aussie families and this resort makes it easy to see why! The Happy Beach boutique resort in Cebu features a beachside Bali lounge, the world famous Unicorn Island and every shade of pink you could possibly imagine!

Out Of This World

The Happy Beach resort opened in mid-December and tourists have come from all over the world to experience this dream holiday destination. There are plenty of activities for adults and children alike, with all attractions decked out in the resort’s signature shade of pink. Each room can accommodate up to six people comfortably and those who book through the resort’s site gain free entry to the beach and pink pool! They also receive discounted access to Inflatable Island which is every kid’s dream! Covering 4500 sqm, Inflatable Island features The Wrecking Ball, The Leap of Faith and a 10m slide that is guaranteed to get hearts racing. Can you imagine anything more incredible than a floating pink playground set in a tropical paradise? We can’t!

Tickled Pink

Those who opt to stay elsewhere can still enjoy all that the resort has to offer. Attractions are open daily from 8 am with admission starting from as little as $8 per person. Rooms are also affordable with prices ranging from $202 for a family room including breakfast. We think the resort has something for everybody, whether that’s partying by a neon pool, relaxing in a giant flamingo or checking out the natural beauty of Mactan.

So if you’re over Bali and Fiji, consider heading to the Philippines for your next sun holiday and check out the Happy Resort!

Where are you travelling during school holidays? Do you wish you were headed to the Happy Resort? Let us know in the comments!

  • Love it! Especially the inflatable bit, the kids would have a ball.
Will definitely put this on the list. My parents go to the Philippines every year but I don’t think they visit this area so I’ll have to let them know and tag along when we can afford it.

  • It’s really pink isn’t it?! As long as it was fun, good weather and family friendly, I guess the colour isn’t really important

  • Wow, that’s a bright beach!

  • The pink looks even brighter against the blue sea. Traveling to the Philipinnes happens to be on our holiday list as a family too.

  • Wow this resort looks spectacular! We haven’t been to the Phillipines so this could definitely be an option.

  • No, we’re not traveling during the school holidays and not heading to the Happy Resort.

  • Seems like a good price including breakfast but then you also need to work out what price that is in AUS dollars too but seems really cool. I am not sure I could handle the pink depending on how long I’d stay but i feel it may be a bit too much with all pink.

  • It depends how many people are included in the price of the family room. I’m sure that would work out cheaper than having 2 smaller rooms. I think the activities may be free for those staying at the resort. The as from $8.00 for activities is only for people not staying at the resort. Considering the cost of cheap rooms in a lot of motels in Aust. it is not that expensive.
