Take the stress out of sterilising bottles and swap the steam for the power of UV sterilisers!

When it comes to sterilising your little one’s bottles, the whole thing can be a bit of a process. Not only do you want to ensure that the bottles are effectively cleaned, but for busy mums, it’s so important that it is efficient and able to be done on the go. It also goes without saying that we want a product that can do more than just clean bottles – what mum doesn’t love a product that can do it all while still being affordable? While steam has traditionally been a go-to for sterilisation, UV sterilisers are using the power of ultraviolet light to take the stress out of keeping up with bottle management. Check out our top reasons why we’re making the switch!

Eliminates Germs

For most mums, the top priority when it comes to bottle sterilisation is the effective elimination of germs. Protecting your bub from any potential nasties is an absolute must, especially during the first twelve months when their immune system is still developing.  The New Beginnings 2-in-1 UV Steriliser is one of the first of its kind on the market, using ultraviolet light to kill up to 99.9% of common germs and bacteria. If you needed any further proof, it’s a technology that has been used amongst healthcare professionals for years! The strong and reliable PHILIPS UV Globe* also ensures a light that is safe and durable, with no need to worry about UV light leakage.

Compact and Convenient

Breastfeeding can be a real challenge, especially when trying to coordinate it around the general chaos of mum life! If you’re sick and tired of having every available inch of bench space taken up, then the New Beginnings 2-in-1 UV Steriliser is a perfect choice. No matter how much room you’ve got, the steriliser is a space-saving solution for any mum thanks to its compact, streamlined and silent design, taking up just a small amount of bench space. We especially love that the steriliser is silent so we won’t even notice that it is on – no chance of waking bub or interrupting those few precious minutes of ‘me time’!

Without using water, UV Sterilizers also require fewer steps than their traditional counterparts, as you just place your bottles inside, and with the push of a button, you are ready to go! No cooling the bottles after they’ve been sterilised either – the UV light generates no heat so your bottles can be used immediately which is the ultimate in both saving time and avoiding tantrums!

Multifunctional

There’s no denying that babies are expensive so any opportunity to find a multifunctional, high-quality, affordable product is one we are taking! Traditional sterilisers are often limited to one function, leaving you needing to spread bottles all over your kitchen bench to dry them, but the New Beginnings 2-in-1 UV Steriliser does so much more!  Not only does it effectively sterilise bottles in a matter of minutes, but will also dry and store your bottles, teats, sippy cups, and accessories. Yes, this handy unit fits up to 4 bottles at a time, drying in 41 minutes and sterilising in 11 minutes! We just love it when a product saves us time and money but also delivers high-quality results.

So what are you waiting for? If you’re a mum who has had enough of giving up precious time, bench space, and money, make the switch to the New Beginnings 2-in-1 UV Steriliser and take the stress out of breastfeeding!

  • So fancy and hi tech I would have loved one of these. I just used a microwave Sterisiler

  • This looks so fancy and high technology. It looks very bulky though and my kitchen lacks counter space.

  • Good concept, but I survived well with my steam steriliser and prior to that I just sterilised in boiling water on the stove.

  • This certainly does sound very beneficial.

  • It does sound interesting. I probably wouldnt want to be one of the first to try it though. I would rather it be tried and tested, so to speak.

  • This sounds great to be honest

  • I loved our sterilizer all those years ago. but I know I would have tried this too.

  • I don’t know if I’m on board. Steam was always fantastic for us. The phrase that got me was “eliminates germs”. As a health care professional, I know some germs are necessary for building a strong immune system. Think I’ll stick to steam.

  • Sounds like a wonderful idea – wish it was around in my day.

  • I’m not sure how it connects to breastfeeding perhaps for expressed milk ????
It looks great and I like that it dries too. I wonder if ongoing you could sterilise other things like keys and phones if it stays dry?!

    • That’s an interesting thought as especially keys are getting so dirty. I don’t know if I would dare to put my phone in there !

  • I’m past this stage, but yes, I would have swapped if it was around when I was sterilising bottles.

  • Um, I’m in love with caramilk – when did caramilk become a flavour?? I feel like i have only just discovered it.

    • Haha, I wrote this comment on the wrong post! But I do love caramilk.. hahaha

  • Easy to use, just load and start!

  • I’d try it, but the traditional ways are more viable.for us

  • Only 4 bottles at a time and takes about 1 hr all up…seems like you will be doing this rounds the clock. Great concept though as i know i have burnt my self a fair few times with the steam.

  • I remember using some sort of chemical sterilizer, not steam. It wasn’t a big deal from what I can remember, but this UV sterilizer looks good too.
