  • I always get cystic acne along my jawline during that time of the month, I know they are hormone breakouts.

  • This is so informative i have always attributed my nose pimples to hormones but it makes complete sense that it would be dietary since i eat so much crap during my time of the month haha

  • I get breakouts on my chin during that time of the month and also if I’ve eaten to much sugar. So its both hormonal and dietary for me

  • My breakouts are usually stress related though too when hormonal.

  • I’ve had more breakouts in my 30s than I did up until my early twenties and prior to having my son.

  • Well according to that picture, it could mean just about anything. Then factor in hormones.

  • I had shocking cystic acne in my teens. A course of Roaccutane at 18 fixed things for a few years. I had my first baby at 23 and this seemed to set the acne off again. Nothing worked long term. Another course of Roaccutane at age 45. Still doing ok with just a few blackheads and white heads, no more cysts touch wood

  • I get breakouts around my chin area, probably hormonal after having the kids everything is a bit off. Haha! But I also found that using some toothpastes especially whitening ones made it worse and after I changed it has definately helped.

  • I developed post-natal acne that is absolutely hormonal. It took a while, and trial-and-error for everyone to figure out what was going on. I’ve been on medication and tried many things. We’ve discovered the pill, Diane, fixes the problem! Recently I took a 6-month break from the pill, only for the large welts and breakouts to re-occur, so back onto the pill I am!

  • Interesting ! I sure believe pimples indicate something, but wonder if the face-mapping goes up for everyone in the same way.
    Luckily I never had pimples.

  • Amazing if it’s true. Thankfully I have never had to worry about this.
