He is going to be a massive problem when hers older. Massive sense of entitlement and lack of respect. What sort of behaviour has he been exposed to? So young and so naughty. The mum should just not argue with him. End of story.

Obviously this Mum either doesn’t know the meaning of time out or doesn’t believe in using it. 3 minutes and that’s what would have happened here and quite a few other households I know of.
Argue and you stay there for a set time after you stop. I would have put him there for what he did earlier, before the argument even started. Sounds like he had tried to play Grandma off against his Mum too. I hoped Grandma backed the Mum up.
