  • Isnt it sad that these name even have to be banned? Its sad to think that there are people out there that would name a child with one of these names. Its sad that they felt that they were responsibile enough to even have a child.

  • Um why would anyone want to name their child Satan, Smelly etc. That is just cruel and I’m glad their banned. The parents must be a D***head to want to name their child D***head.

  • Ummm scrotum? Smelly? G-bang? D***head? I hope a welfare check was also put in place! Some other names on the list I don’t think are so bad.. I wouldn’t choose them though lol.

  • Thank goodness they can’t use these names. Can’t think of any bad names I have heard

  • These are all great for a laugh. Cruel to call your child by them… but it seems the norm these days, the more unusual the better.

    Reply

  • Wow, I’m glad the law steps in to rule out some of these atrocities!

    Reply

  • Oh my goodness, why would a parent even name their child some of these names, the swear ones or derogatory names is beyond me.

    Reply

  • Some are so common sense. Why would you name a child a cuss word..

    Reply

  • Agree that all those names should be banned.

  • In my opinion Le-a is the worst I’ve heard, pronounced Ledasha. Yes, the dash is pronounced as a word. Each to their own, but I believe choosing names is a big responsibility that should be taken very seriously!

  • Yes all very bad names, I am also wondering why people are in the habit of changing the spelling of names so much so that most will spend their lives spelling out their correct name. I have a difficult surname and am still spelling it out, would hate to have a hard first name as well.

  • Some of these names are just pure disgusting.
But Major …looks like it’s good by Major Lilywhite (FROM) ( i zombie )

  • While watching Giggle & Hoot tonight with my little one they showed a drawing which had been sent in. The name of the child who drew the picture was ‘Wolfie’ & my 3yr old asked if a dog drew the picture! I can just imagine the bullying this poor kid will get at school.

    • We saw Wolfie too, my husband noticed it and it started the same conversation as this article…..

  • I thought it was common knowledge that titles, religious names like god, Jesus, Satan etc and obscenities were banned? What I do find shocking tho is why anyone would try to name their kids something like these in the first place.

    Reply

  • It’s concerning what children may be going through if their parents tried to name them D***head or Sh*thead. I hope these poor babies are safe and loved.

    Reply

  • Absolutely ridiculous that some of these names would even be considered ….. thank goodness they are banned to save the child a lifetime of misery!

    Reply

  • So glad someone is putting a stop to these children having to live with ridiculous names.

    Reply

  • I’m surprised at the list. Some names yes, but many on there sound like they’d be ok?

    Reply

  • There are a lot of odd names here, lots you just would never think were suitable. I know a couple who named their daughter Juana Leaf. Another couple called their son Billy, in reference to a bong. Irresponsible!

    Reply

  • Some you would definitely name your child!
