Kim Kardashian has celebrated her 34th birthday in Los Angeles overnight, with the reality star receiving a very special message from her mum Kris Jenner.

The Kardashian ‘momager’, who released her first cookbook this week, posted this gorgeous photo of a young Kim on Instagram, with the caption:

“Happy Birthday to my precious daughter, best friend, and partner in crime. You are the best daughter, wife, and mother and you have the biggest heart. You amaze me every single day and I am so blessed to have you to love . Enjoy your special day @kimkardashian I love you! #love #family #happybirthday“

Kim also received lots of well-wishes from her sisters, with older sister Kourtney posting:

“Even though I was the bossiest older sister she could ask for, she always loved me. Happy birthday to my sidekick. I love you.”

Younger sister Khloe shared a collage featuring photos of she and Kim, with the caption:

“Happy birthday sister!!!! My bestie, my confidante, the keeper of my secrets (well only of I threaten your life) the sharer of my world. You have become an amazing woman. I couldn’t be prouder or more inspired. Enjoy your birthday KiKi! I love you like a fat kid loves cake!”

It was on Kim’s birthday last year that her now-husband Kanye West got down on one knee and proposed to his love. The couple married in Italy earlier this year and are parents to one-year-old North West:

Earlier in the month, Kim posted this gorgeous pic of North next to a picture of herself as a baby, showing a striking resemblance between the mother and daughter:
