A two-year-old doing makeup?

Jessica Simpson has all the makeup artists in Hollywood at her disposal, but her preferred artiste is only 2.

“Maxi loves to do Mommy’s makeup,” she posted on Instagram with a too-cute pic of Maxwell putting on her lip gloss.

Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 1, were part of the wedding party when their Aunty Ashlee married Diana Ross’s son Evan on Aug. 31. Maxwell was a flower girl and Ace toddled up the aisle holding the rings.

Businesswoman and singer Jessica, who married Eric Johnson on July 5, heads up a huge fashion empire in the US estimated to be worth up to a billion dollars, but her heart remains firmly at home.

“I love this man, our marriage and everything in between,” she wrote weeks after the wedding.

As for Maxwell, she seems to love getting up close to her family’s faces. Here she is with her mum’s father, Joe Simpson, on US Father’s Day.

Jessica had her babies close together, and if has her way, they won’t be welcoming any little siblings soon. Cuddling a friend’s newborn, “I love you Jack,” she posted, “but I do not want another!” Luckily the two she has are pretty cute.

that is cute. but i have only thought about putting lippy or nail polish on my girls for play. never the other way around. lol

Too cute! My daughter loves putting make up on me too. Generally not great if I have to leave the house!

That is one thing my kids never tried or even asked me if they could! I think it would have been a fun thing to do. Perhaps i will mention to my grandchildren!

I don’t have this problem as I don’t wear make up but i do wear lip gloss and my 6 year old has her own too.

I have 3 girls and they all played with makeup and loved doing mine and doing my hair.
It was always lots of fun.
