Hello!

Want a free art kit delivered straight to your door? Sounds almost too good to be true, but alas, it isn’t. It’s a real thing! Using the $100 Creative Kids Voucher provided to residents of NSW, families can get creative and have a little arty fun.

What is a Creative Kids Voucher? It’s an initiative by the NSW Government to help kids get creative. Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old who are currently enrolled in school.

The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and tuition costs for creative arts, speech, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons and activities. And if you want to craft at home, you can simply buy an art kit from any registered provider and have it delivered straight to your home.

Ready to get crafty? We’ve gathered our favourite places to start shopping with your Creative Kids Voucher, and inspire your little artist!

  • What a great idea. I’ve never met a kid who does not enjoy painting, drawing, cutting, glueing etc. Lots of fun

  • Wow! So many places to use the vouchers.
Unfortunately my kids are aged two and under so they don’t qualify.
Wish they would bring something out for toddlers as my two year old loves arts and craft but I just get stuff from kmart.

  • Wow the candle making one looks great, wish i saw this earlier. I did however go to https://hiveandgobbler.com.au/collections/diy-kits to use my son’s creative voucher (he’s not doing or interested any arty or dance classes etc). Ordered myself a beeswax wrapper and paper making kit! Can’t wait to start on this over the next 4 weeks of extended lockdown!
