Paddle pop stick lizards - Arts, Crafts and DIY

A really quick and easy craft for preschoolers and older. My daughter needed some help with cutting the pipe cleaners and twisting the feet on, other wise she was able to do most of this herself.

Material

2 paddle pop sticks
6 pipe cleaners
glue or sticky tape
textas for decorating
scissors

Method

Cut one pipe cleaner in half to make the 2 legs.
Cut the other pipe cleaner in half, and then half again. These 4 bits will make the feet. Twist one onto each end of the legs.
Use glue or sticky tape to stick to the underside of the paddle pop stick.
Twist the third pipe cleaner to make a tail and secure it with sticky tape to the end of the paddle pop stick. Decorate it as you like.

We used to do a lot of these type of crafts when the kids were younger. Pop sickles pipe cleaners, toilet rolls egg boxes empty cardboard boxes are must haves !

You could make these as party favours for lolly bags or stick a magnet on them to hang on the fridge
