A baby activity table and children’s books from Kmart have been recalled, over fears they pose a choking and suffocation risk.

Batches of the Bright Wonders Janod Cocoon activity table have been recalled, as there’s a risk the bell may detach from the table while in use, posing a risk of choking, suffocation or death, according to Product Safety Australia.

Recalled activity tables have the batch numbers: 10615, 10799, 10887, 11107

The batch number can be found on a small, white round sticker with the Janod logo in the middle on the underside of the table. The batch number may also be found near the barcode on the box. The activity tables were sold nationwide and online between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2022.

Anyone who has an recalled table is urged to stop using it immediately and contact Bright Wonders on 08 7425 1406 for a free replacement bell kit.

  • Good they are proactive with this. Though maybe kids products should pass more strict testing and the companies wouldn’t have to lose $$ on recalls.
