Wackadoo! A brand new range of Bluey toys is about to hit our stores, bringing our favourite Blue Heeler family to life.
There is no such thing as too much Bluey in our lives. Our kids (and grownups) are crazy for Bluey, Bingo and their loveable Aussie parents Chilli and Bandit. And now there is a whole new range of Bluey toys to pick from.
First, there were figurines, books and plush toys. In March this year, the loveable doggy family was emblazoned on a range of clothes available at Kmart, Big W and Target. And let’s try and forget the disastrous Peter Alexander Bluey PJ’s sale. But now, Moose Toys has revealed the latest additions to its range of Bluey toys!
The new Bluey toys include…wait for it…. a board game, additional friend figurines, playsets and even a family vehicle.
The 2-pack figurines are available in three different variations – including Bluey’s adorable cousins Muffin and Socks along with Bingo, and the other two packs are inspired by popular episodes, ‘The Pool’ and ‘Grannies’.
With the pools set, Bluey and Bingo are ready to dive right into play in their swimmers, goggles
and of course sunscreen on!
And in the Grannies set, be sure to hide your canned beans, Janet and Rita are here to cause havoc and no doubt bust out a few dances moves too.
In addition, there is also a Bluey and Friends 4-Pack Figurines, featuring Bluey and her friends Coco, Snickers and Honey.
For the first time ever, Mini Playsets will be introduced in the form of Bingo’s Playroom and Bluey’s Playground. I reckon this is going to be the most popular choice for my kids (and many others!). I can just see them playing for hours, recreating their favourite scenes from the show.
Bluey 4WD Family Cruiser
A super exciting addition to the range is the Bluey 4WD Family Cruiser, the iconic Heeler family 4WD! It is the perfect car to go on a fun adventure, fitting four figurines inside. The Cruiser comes with a Bandit figurine as well as two surfboards on the roof that can easily be removed. The vehicle also comes with a fun sticker sheet that includes backseat rubbish and beach friends so that you can decorate the car.
‘Shadowlands’ Board Game
Another exciting addition is the ‘Shadowlands’ Board Game, based on one of the unique games that Bluey plays with her friends and family in the series. Play with Bluey and her friends by staying in the shadowy bits of the board, collect five Cupcake Cards and be the first to the picnic.
“Australia will be the first market in the world to experience this new range of Bluey toys and we are incredibly excited to bring them to Aussie families everywhere,” said Khia Pledger, Australian Marketing Manager at Moose Toys.
The announcement of the new toys on Bluey Facebook page ignited a flurry of excitement with the post attracting over 3,000 comments. Fans are loving the new variety of Bluey characters that can be added to their collection.
These new Bluey toys will be available at leading retailers in store and online throughout Australia in early May (ie very soon). The prices and launch timings for the range are as follows:
