If you’ve got a child turning eight in October, consider their birthday present sorted – they can climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge for FREE!

To celebrate BridgeClimb’s 25th birthday, they’re giving young thrill seekers who are turning eight-years-old next month the chance to climb the iconic structure without paying.

BridgeClimb Sydney

Eight is the minimum age to be able to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and what better way to celebrate than on top of the world (or Sydney at least!).

The exclusive offer is open across all Day Climb BridgeClimb products, and kids have to meet the minimum height requirement of 120cm. They also need to be accompanied by a full-paying adult. All you need to do is provide proof of their age – a birth certificate or passport will do.

To celebrate eight at the summit, head to BridgeClimb Sydney.

  • Limited number of 8 year olds that would sign up for this. What a shame it wasnt for 25yr olds.

  • What a brilliant idea though why just for 8yr Olds .
Kids should be free, gets them out of the house and away from their devices

  • I would be so worried the whole time on the bridge – not even sure I would do it myself.

  • I would think that would be a bit scary for an 8yr old and they’d still need a paying adult with them.

  • Not a fan of heights and neither is my son so not something that would interest us, but so cool for those who love this type of thing

  • This is not something on my bucket list and I don’t think I would be letting an 8 year do this.
