Four lucky MoM Members will be in the chance to win a Vicks Winter Wellness Pack.

Vicks Vaporizer uses the power of warm steam therapy to help ease congestion throughout the night, so as winter approaches, arm yourself with products that will help get you and your family through this cold and flu season.

It seems that warm, moist air has long been heralded as a quick solution for coughs, colds and congestion. Humidity, and in particular warm steam, work to relieve the symptoms of coughs and colds in a number of ways.

  • By ‘liquifying’ mucous secretions, making them thinner and easier to expel.
  • By warming and relaxing the muscles of the throat, helping ease the ‘cough reflex’.
  • By softening and adding moisture to the air which helps to alleviate a sore, scratchy throat, crusty nose and itchy eyes.

Soothe the symptoms of your child’s cold, flu, bronchitis and croup with gentle, natural, warm steam. To help ease congestion, let the Vicks Vaporizer run for up to 14 hours overnight, so that the whole family gets a better night’s sleep. Use it with the Vicks VapoSteam Inhalant for comforting and soothing eucalyptus vapours.

For this competition four lucky members will have the chance to WIN a Vicks Winter Wellness pack, including a Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer, Vicks VapoSteam and Vicks VapoSteam Double Strength, valued at $107.50.

  • Echinacea! When the first signs show it’s a must to start taking a good immunity builder like echinacea! Reduces the severity and recovery time ???????? An amazing probiotic is great too as it supports the gut microbiome through illness.

  • Lots of fresh vegetables and lots of garlic in their meals. If that all fails send them to their grand parents, let them deal with problem :)

  • Remembering that you don’t get a cold from being cold… don’t stress about kids not wearing their jumpers.. just make sure they eat their fruit and veggies… best way to combat illness.

  • Vicks on the bottom of the feet and cover with socks over night. Lots of water, chicken noodle soup and movies.

  • Cuddles, liquids, fruit & panadol, but mainly and mostly vicks, to rid the awful sniffs!

  • Rubbing vicks on the back and chest, you can also put some on a hanky for sniffly noses.

  • Vicks on my kids chest and feet

  • There’s nothing like Vicks VapoDrops to soothe a sore throat, and Vicks Vaporub helps with stuffy noses. And when dinner time rolls around, my grandmother’s chicken noodle soup, made from scratch, is the panacea for all ills!

  • To survive colds and the flu my go to is vicks vapour rub on the chest, neck, back and feet. Helps so much every time!

  • Homemade Chicken Broth at least once a bleak,
Means we are strong – not weak!
    Full of nutrients and taste,
    And good for my waist.

  • My go to for surviving colds and flu is my loungeroom, with a blanket, a cup of tea, and sometimes 2 panadol rapids in a glass of water. On top of this, I always get at least one of three kitties on me to keep me even more warm :)

  • Vicks chesty rub

  • Armaforce and Vicks nasal stick – without this special blend of health nutrients and menthol nasal stick, I would not survive winter at all! Works every day, all winter long.

  • First stop is Flu shot, keep a handy supply of tissues, then there is the couch and the healthy netflix

  • It’s hard to avoid colds and flu in this household of allergies and asthma, but the main thing is to keep it simple: get plenty of rest, fresh air, good food and stay happy and positive.

  • Eating healthy food, leafy greens and citrus builds up immune. Dress for the weather, get fresh air if possible. Home made soups are great made from scratch that will fill your belly and give you lots of vitamins to fight off any bugs that maybe around. Wash hands often!

  • I have 2 toddlers under 3. My go-to is warm steamy showers and Vicks on their chests and under their feet then socks on. A pic of my little darlings feeling under the weather.
