Congratulations to this How I Met Your Mother star!

Cobie Smulders has shared some very exciting news with People.

The star of How I Met Your Mother confirmed overnight that she and husband Taran Killam, are expecting their second child together.

The couple, who married in a star-studded ceremony in 2012, are also parents to 5-year-old daughter Shaelyn Cado.

This will be a busy pregnancy for Cobie who has just finished filming the latest Avengers movie Age of Ultron, and is due to start doing the red carpet rounds in the late stages of her pregnancy.

However the star has plenty of experience as a working mum, returning to the set of HIYM not long after her Shaelyn was born.

Speaking to OK! Magazine at the time, the 32-year-old revealed ‘It’s a lot of work and I feel extremely grateful because my job allows me a lot of flexibility and freedom.’

‘And financially I am able to have a lot of help around.’

It’s great that she admits to being able to have a lot of help. Most people don’t have that sort of lifestyle available to them. I’m sure they’ll be able to cope just fine with 2 or more children.

The second last line reads:

so I think they will cope probably better than most.
