Congratulations Wippa! - Mouths of Mums

Lovely news for Michael “Wippa” Wipfli!

The NOVA FM radio host took to Twitter on Friday to announce that he and wife Lisa had become parents for the first time, posting:

Wippa then joined his co-host Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald live on air this morning to announce his son’s name.

“I’d like to welcome to the world, Theodore George Jack Wipfli. He will be known as Teddy,” he revealed.

It has been very very exciting, and it was the best thing in the world, and he is absolutely perfect.

Lisa was a number of days overdue, and after a last-ditch effort to bring on the delivery by eating a spicy curry, the 35-year-old funnyman’s wife was induced.

“We know you’re in there. 6 days over due, it’s just getting silly.”

Speaking about the induction, Wippa revealed “‘It’s not what we expected, and that’s life and that’s pregnancy and that’s creating a family.”

We wanted everything to go smoothly, like everyone does and a natural process to take place like everyone does.

We know you will join us in congratulating Wippa and Lisa at this very exciting time. We can’t wait to see the first photo of baby Teddy.

My baby girl was 8 days late and my little boy was 2 weeks early, they come when ready, we just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.

My son was 10 days over due (induced)
my daughter was brought on by induction 9 days early..due to doctors orders..and complications.
