Hello!

Have a break, have a KitKat….like you’ve never had before. Now you can give your favourite wafer chocolate a personalised twist and design your very own version at the brand new KitKat Chocolatory opening in the centre of Sydney.

The new treat-filled boutique KitKat Chocolatory is all about giving chocolate lovers a unique personalised, premium experience that will transform the humble KitKat into an out-of-this-world taste sensation.

Nestle launches the Sydney branch after delicious success with its Melbourne boutique. But the word on the street is that the Sydney KitKat Chocolatory will offer even more decadent KitKat experiences.

“We are looking forward to offering Sydneysiders a KitKat Chocolatory experience that allows them to explore their creativity and discover amazing chocolate combinations, handcrafted by our incredibly talented chocolatiers,” said Nestlé General Manager Confectionery Chris O’Donnell.

Create Your Break!

The flagship experience at the store will be ‘Create Your Break’. Visitors will get the chance to design their own eight-finger KitKat to be created in the boutique. Pick from over 30,000 possible combinations, with a choice of premium chocolates, an array of gourmet ingredients and custom package designs. It takes around 90 minutes to conjure up your unique creation so you can choose to either watch chocolatiers create your bar, or return to collect it.

But wait there’s more…

The KitKat Chocolatory also introduces the first-in-Australia ‘KitKat Tasting Table’, where guests can explore a carefully crafted selection of plated KitKat desserts offering the latest trends in chocolate. You can reserve this special boutique experience for up to ten guests for 90 minute seatings through OpenTable.

KitKat Chocolate Train

We’re all pretty familiar with a sushi train, but how about a chocolate train? It’s worthwhile visiting the KitKat Chocolatory just to see the KitKat Chocolate Train (the kids will go crazy for this!). This chocolate-carrying choo-choo will transport all sorts of original KitKat creations around the store. I’m keen to sample the Yuzu Ganache, Peanut Butter or maybe even the Raspberry and Wasabi Creme.

Pick ‘n Mix

If you’re after a bit of variety, you’ll love the ‘Mix Your Break’ range. You get to pick from a selection of delicious ‘different’ flavours such as Cotton Candy, Guava, Churros, Sake and Matcha.

  • I think we have tried this in Melbourne.. or something similar anyway. I don’t think you can improve on the original.

  • Sorry – I like the original and cannot see how they can make it better.

  • OMG Kit Kat overload. They already do my favourite. Any version of choc mint is high on my list.

  • I’d love to try an avocado and macadamia one or a honey and macadamia would be interesting. I’d love to try their Aussie Lamington kitkat too. Pity I’ll never get there

  • This would be a great experience being able to try all the different flavours. Definitely something I would do if I was to holiday down there, I think it would be worth the price for the fun and experience.

  • What a fun idea. I checked it out online and a few favourites are Special Edition Churros or Pistachio or Reimagined Aussie Lamington and more for $8.00 each! Create your own break – 3 flavours, packaging and my name for $15.00 and lots of other options in different price ranges. Bunch of flowers are great, but I’d go for this delicious gift, treat or splurge due to the customised fun factor and says 6 July Sydney opening so a great day out with the girls or family.
