A driver with six children in the car has been clocked driving at 176km/h in Western Australia’s remote north.

The people-mover was pulled over on the Great Northern Highway on Monday morning after it was recorded travelling more than 60km/h over the limit south of Meekatharra.

Police Sergeant Brennan told Australian Associated Press that the six children were aged approximately 10 years and under.

  • Utterly horrifying! I couldn’t imagine driving at this speed, then adding children into the equation…..
    I wonder what penalties the driver had imposed on them?

  • First off he should not be able to have his kids, then car crushed after impounding and lisecnce taken away for years!!
