Dwayne Johnson took to social media to share how little Jasmine (or the “tornado,” as he called her) busted through his door to wake him up and play even though he only had 3hrs sleep.

He wrote, “Working late and had only 3hrs sleep when this tornado busts in our bedroom, jumps on me and pleads with me to get up and take her to my closet (she keeps toys in my closet) to play.

“We get there and then – surprise – she refuses to play and just wants me to hold her while she makes fart noises.

“Tired as all hell, but thought ehh there’s gonna come a time, years from now when jumping in my arms is the last thing she wants to do and ain’t gonna be cool anymore — so I’ll always take these moments while I can.”

Truer words have never been said!

  • Children grow up so quickly – grab all the blessings while they are there for you. Great way for him to behave.

  • Crazy time yet what a special child/parent moment. Yep, get them while you can.

  • Love it! It’s not just us “regular folk” so sleep deprived.

  • I’m mean. I hope Jasmine knows how to amuse herself part of the time.
Mums and Dads need a bit a “me” time just to sleep sometimes.

  • Great dad.

  • That’s very true! He sounds like a great dad.

  • Glad to see him keeping in real! Love the rock!

  • I agree. My son is now 17 and if he asks for my attention/time at the moment, I’m giving it for the same reason. Soon, he will no longer want that.

  • Such a wonderful moment to share and great wisdom in knowing the moment won’t last forever. Enjoy playtime while we can because no-one knows what’s around the corner.

  • Such an amazing actor and a wonderful dad!

  • That is just so sweet!!! It’s so adorable.

  • Dwyane is such a great Dad, role model and very inspirational.

  • Dwayne is so inspiring ❤️

  • They certainly grow up quickly but it’s hard to have the energy when there is so much to do when they are little.

  • Kids grow up too quickly so it is important to optimise on the special moments whilst you can. No matter how big or small they maybe.
