It’s a good reminder, but how many people still use these?

Time to head back to the old days, safety pins had metal slide down bits on them to prevent them from opening. No way were they coming off

I didn’t know people actually still used safety pins on nappies? Modern reusable nappies tend to have little push button closures

Yes agree with this especially when you buy the cheap ones too

goodness, I dont’ know the last time I saw one of these on an actual nappy! Most people use disposables now

With disposable nappies being so prevalent now many people probably wouldn’t use these pins anymore?

I havent seen safety pins used since i was a little girl.

They were originally used as nappy pins in the days of towelling nappies. I now use them only for pinning knitting together…..out of the reach of “little fingers”

Who uses safety pins these days on their babies ?

Better to avoid them completely with babies!
