Olympic swimming champion Emily Seebohm and her reality TV fiancé Ryan Gallagher have welcomed their first baby – a little boy.

Emily took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of her son’s tiny fingers intertwined with her own, captioned with the simple words: ‘He’s here’.

The couple only recently shared the gender of their baby in a very fitting, swimming-related reveal.

Such a cool gender reveal – we love it!

Back in July Emily revealed the couple is expecting in an Instagram video, with the caption, “We’ve had a little bump in the road”. The touching video shows the loved-up couple cradling Emily’s baby bump, kissing and cuddling.

However, Ryan shared a different version of the video – a parody with him showing off a ‘baby bump’. He also reveals in the caption that the baby is due in September.

Ryan is a former Married At Fist Sight contestant, and the couple actually met on the set of a different reality TV show, The Challenge.

Olympic medalist Emily and Ryan announced their engagement in March, after publicly revealing their relationship in December last year.

Emily hasn’t competed in swimming since the 2020 Olympics, but she had hinted at the possibility of competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics. But that now seems unlikely, with the Australian trials flagged for June next year.
