It was just last week that Erin McNaught and her husband Elliot Gleave (known as Example), shared the first photos of their newborn son Evander Maxwell.

And now the model mum, who gave birth on December 19 last year, has taken to social media to show off her post baby body:

4 weeks PP and I’m starting to get my stomach back! Aside from lots of walking and eating healthily, I’ve been doing loads of pelvic floor and transverse abdominus exercises. Still no traditional ab work though which is driving me crazy! #bodyafterbaby”

The 32-year-old has been working hard to regain her figure, sharing a photo of she and Gleave rock climbing last week:

Cheeky little arvo climb with @example and @beaubram while the little man sleeps below…”

Erin posted a number of “bump” photos during her pregnancy and in an interview with Who Magazine, revealed “I want another one already.”

Every new mum is different and being a model, we understand why Erin would be keen to get back in shape so quickly after giving birth.

  • congrats to her she should be proud of her hard work she looks great, for others like myself after my third a year and a half ago it has been a bit hard but i am always happy to see a woman return to pre baby body at let alone quickly i wish i could. having heaps of stretch marks doesnt help because when i lose a few kgs here and there i still have some extra skin. :( After my first i struggled with confidence but now i am a little older and have more confidence in myself rather than my looks.

  • good for her- her body looks great but she looks super tired!

  • I’d say I DEFINITELY eased back into exercise…like 3 years later lol :(
But good for her she looks great and has worked for it.

  • I never looked like Erin before my pregnancy, so wouldn’t expect to ever look like her after! I had difficulty during pregnancy, birth and for the first 12 months so other things were a priority and exercise wasn’t one of them. I did attend Weight Watchers when my son was 2 or 3 and managed to lose 12 kilos!!

  • NICE TO HEAR SHE IS DOING PLENTY OF PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES THOUGH.

  • WOW! If I could look half as good as her 4 YEARS post pregnancy I’d be a happy camper :P

  • I took my time after my first pregnancy but will be getting back into my exercise shortly after my second baby is born soon. It’s not even so much about the getting back into shape (although it’s a great bonus), but feeling healthy and confident with a daily routine that makes me feel like I have more energy.

  • Seven years later and I’m still taking my time about it!

  • Yeah I don’t like seeing these either – makes me feel inadequate.

  • Um what? Who looks like this 4 weeks PP?? Not realistic. I know she’s in the very, very small minority but these kind of pictures make normal mums feel abnormal. I don’t like seeing posts like these.

  • OMG….it has taken me 4 years, and a divorce to get back to weigh less that I was before I was pregnant. Stress and heartache seems to be something that makes me retain weight rather than lose it. She looks beautiful….good on her and she has youth on her side.

  • it looks like she didn’t have much too loose in the first place – but good one her for being proactive and getting back to her regular look

  • Another celebrity getting back into shape ridiculously quickly after giving birth. Continued pressure on real mums to regain their prepregnancy body too quickly. Men and people who haven’t been pregnant are influenced by these stories.

  • I’m an old fashioned mum ;) I’d rather spend time with my baby, I have the rest of my life to worry about my body :)

  • What a great effort.
