The former Charmed star has welcomed her second child with husband David Bugliari.
The actress, 41, gave birth to a daughter, Elizabella Dylan, who weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.
A spokesperson confirmed that “Mummy and baby are doing wonderfully”.
The couple, who married in 2009, are also parents to son Milo, 3.
The actress was very much looking forward to the arrival of Elizabella, hosting a flower-filled baby shower last month, posting on social media:
Alyssa also gained a lot of support when she spoke to Fit Pregnancy about the pressure she felt to lose the baby weight after the birth of her son, saying “A female body is not made to look good in a bikini. It’s made to give birth and have a baby and be a cozy companion for it afterward. And for my body, that meant putting on a lot of weight.”
“I didn’t indulge in fast food or junk food, so I knew it was a healthy weight,” she continued. “I just realised: This is what my body needs to do to have a healthy baby.”
The star was very open to her changing shape during pregnancy, posting pictures of her growing bump on Instagram:
