A four-year-old girl has bravely tried to defend her father from an armed robber.
The clever littler girl grabbed a toy gun and rushed to daddy’s rescue.
When a masked attacker entered the Dandenong North milk bar in Victoria at around 7pm on Sunday, he demanded cash while brandishing a knife at the owner, who was behind the register.
The little girl saw the robbery unfolding on a CCTV monitor in a room behind the store and grabbed a plastic toy gun, according to her mother.
‘She wanted to protect her daddy,’ the mother said.
The offender got away on foot and wasn’t wearing gloves. Police have now taken fingerprints for forensic examination and are hunting for the armed robber.
