When I took my son for a vaccination when he 3. The nurse injected him and he look straight at her and said ” Your horrible woman! you hurt me” The nurse was so upset as no child had every said something that nasty to her before. Its funny now but it sure wasn’t taken as funny then.

They are horrible, but are worse when you tense up and freak out like that

i freak out (maybe not exactly like this lol!) when I had to let my girls have their needles growing up – I can understand how she feels poor thing

I really feel for the nurse and the girl. My 8 year old needed a blood test last year – we had to go to a specialist children’s blood collection service, because the local one couldn’t get a sample! So stressful for all involved (super cool medical staff are amazingly effective).
