Guess who's sick of her super-short hair?

Singer-actress Miley Cyrus had been trying to shed her Hannah Montana Disney persona for a while until she achieved it somewhat dramatically – with a super-short punky bleached crop.

miley cyrus gone short Her new hairdo was accompanied by a drastic wardrobe shift to edgy skin-baring fashions showing off her startling weight loss, thanks to giving up dairy and gluten. “I could never see myself having long, long hair again,” she said in February. “My fiancé [Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, 23] loves it.”

Fast-forward to now, though, and “I’m secretly tugging on it every night and taking [hair growth supplement “Viviscal, I’m not going to lie,” Cyrus, 20, told Kelly Osbourne for E!’s Fashion Police show. “But I’m going to rock it while I have it.”

Although back in February she said she hated seeing photos of herself with hair extensions – “I wish somebody would have ripped those out of my head” – she’s now hankering for those days. “I love a good weave,” she told Osbourne. “I can’t help it. I love a good piece. But I don’t have anything to clip [it to].”

It is good to experiment with different styles and I would not dream of telling another woman on how she should wear/style her hair.

I prefer Miley with longer hair. But the short hair do suits the image she is portraying.

I think long hair looks more feminine. I cut my long hair very short a number of years ago and so regretted it, it’s all grown back now and I’ll never have it short again.

I like her with longer hair, but she’s very much her own person, and in the end she really only has to please herself, so what we think doesn’t matter. Wish she’d tone down some of her recent antics though.

I think she’s trying way too hard to be grown up and not Hannah Montana anymore. Personally, I loved Hannah Montana! Not so much the crazy girl she’s become..
