It is so important to keep those special friendships, when the distance between you grows. People can still remain great friends with those far apart.

It’s hard to stay close when your kids are different ages. But it’s so important to try to make an effort whenever you can!

I find it hard that most of my friends haven’t had children yet. But it is nice when we do catch up.

My BF doesn’t have kids, so we are separated by so many factors. But we manage to make the effort to catch up. It’s really important for my sanity.

So true. My darling best friend of 22 years lives in Queensland now and I miss her on a daily basis 🙁

It is difficult when each person has a busy life. Between sport runs, school, swimming lessons, shopping, Dr visits the time when my best friend and would meet up has well and truly gone. Moving an hour away didn’t help either. maybe we dont have time for coffee, but we do keep in touch by phone or mail. We will be there for each other always and when we do meet up for coffee it is all the more special.
