So is the product actually defective or are people just not putting it together properly

Anything people need to put together themselves seems dangerous to me.

I feel this was common sense but ikea are taking a pro approach to handling it

I’m guessing the child was too heavy or too tall / long. SA isn’t listed at all. I know somebody who has one similar but it doesn’t have drawers

It sounds like it’s partly a user fault, though.

IKEA has had so many recalls. It’s quite disturbing to be honest

Yet another product recall. This one seems to be because it’s not put together properly though. So maybe not entirely the products fault.
