IKEA has issued a recall on packets of marshmallows after mice were found at a production unit.
The recall was issued for Godis Paskkyckling marshmallows with best before dates between 23 October 2018 and 26 January 2019.
“Food safety is a priority at IKEA and as a precautionary measure, we are recalling GODIS PÅSKKYCKLING, marshmallow candy 100g due to potential contamination at the production unit,” the company said in a statement on the IKEA Australia website.

“We see this recall as a necessary step to live up to our high-quality food safety standards and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Customers who have purchased the recalled packets of marshmallows are being urged to return them to their nearest IKEA store for a full refund. No receipt is required.
