It sure is a huge amount of money to others (myself included) however in my opinion, it’s up to the individuals on how they choose to spend their hard earnt money how they see fit.

Looks like a very special birthday party. Would have been a wonderful experience to have been there. If I had exorbitant amounts of money I would spend some of it on creating magical experiences for my family. I would spend and give to others too.

That’s probably like me spending $500.

Wow that is a lot to spend on a birthday party. But hey if you’ve got stupid amounts of money then why not.

i know parents want to give their children everything but i also believe you have to teach your children about how important it is that not everyone lives like that.that amount of money why not donate some into a charity in her daughters name and explain about it plus a lovely party.

We wouldn’t use that in a lifetime, presents included.
Blue Ivy will never know what it is to learn to save for anything unless her parents “see the light”. I can’t imagine her earning pocket money.
That amount of money would buy us a 4 bedroom home.

What? 800k??? Why did she throw away so much money? It could have spent in such a better way.

Such extravagance is obscene. I agree with MoM lizgh – the money could have been used to help others and would have been a better life lesson for the child.

I know money is not a problem for her but she could do a better use from this money like helping other kids who needs help, and show her daughter the real value of money.

oh to have the spending life of a celebrity – seriously though that is an insane amount of money to spend on a party. might as well enjoy it while you have it!

Seriously that’s just outrageous, 800k would pay off my house and pay for 2 of my kids schooling.
