Jesse and Mel, who starred in hit-TV show The Block in 2019, have welcomed their first child, a sweet little girl.

The couple shared some beautiful, intimate photos of the moments after their daughter’s birth, and revealed her name is Khloe Raeburn. “We are so filled with love and joy,” the couple wrote.

Their gorgeous birth announcement was met with messages of congratulations from other former Block contestants.

“Awww hello princess. Big congratulations to you both couldn’t be more happy for you she is perfection,” wrote Tanya Guccione.

While Tess and Luke commented: “Congratulations our beautiful people on bringing the most gorgeous girl into the world. We love you so much Khloe and can’t wait to meet you! We are so proud of you guys! Love you so so so much.”

Fittingly, the former Block couple has been working hard on renovating their home before the arrival of their little girl. Jesse has been leading the charge as the owner builder.

“I’ve been involved in the construction the whole way but I’ll be doing all my own tiling. I’ve been helping with all the carpentry, the demo, concrete, just doing literally everything ’cause I love it — it’s probably like a dream come true to actually build your own home,” Jesse previously told 9Entertainment.

As well as appearing on the 2019 season of The Block, Jesse made a few appearances on last year’s season as Tanya and Vito’s real estate agent and auctioneer – he even did some tiling in their reno!
