Jaime King makes a very special announcement

Heart of Dixie star Jaime King shared some very lovely news on social media overnight.

Taking to Instagram, the actress announced that she and husband Kyle Newman were expecting their second child together, posting this adorable photo of their 1-year-old son James with the caption:

“So excited to announce THE SEQUEL Coming later this year!! … #BabyTown2 – Created by @kyle_newman and @jaime_king. Also starring #JamesKnight”

The 35-year-old has been open about her fertility struggles, revealing that to conceive her first child, she endured a number of rounds of IVF and five miscarriages.

Ultimately, her gorgeous son was conceived naturally and when she fell pregnant, Jaime had “never felt so grateful.”

Speaking to ABC News last year, the gorgeous mum opened up about her son, revealing “He’s the happiest, most joyful, social and loving baby.”

“This baby was a long time in the making and I feel like the universe put a little extra magic dust in him.”

It took me 4 years to conceive my son, eventually successful with IVF. It was our last try before we were going to give up on ever being parents. I call him our miracle child, and our million dollar child!

A dear friend of mine was unable to fall pregnant & decided on adoption. Just 3 months after the adoption she fell pregnant naturally! Maternal instincts are amazing!

ANOTHER celebrity baby, there has to be something in the water, I am amazed how many are being announced, is it that with social media we are hearing about it earlier and more frequently, it just seems to be another one daily, not saying that it is not fantastic and I wish the family all the best, it is lovely to have more than one child and to have them relatively close is wonderful, so I wish jaimie a trouble free and wonderful pregnancy.
