Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that she was hospitalised and her unborn baby underwent ‘emergency fetal surgery’.

There were concerns for her health, after her husband, drummer Travis Barker, had to leave Blink-182’s world tour for an ‘urgent family matter’.

The 44-year-old pregnant star has now revealed their unborn baby boy had to undergo lifesaving surgery in utero.

Kourtney uploaded an image of Travis’ hand holding hers in hospital, with the following caption:

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

Kourtney Kardashian Announces Pregnancy

In June, Kourtney Kardashian revealed that she’s expecting her first baby with husband Travis Barker, in a very rock ‘n’ roll way!

Kardashian announced she is expecting the couple’s first child, by holding up a sign at a Blink-182 concert that read ‘Travis I’m Pregnant’.

The reality star and her 47-year-old drummer husband shared a video of the reveal to Instagram.

The couple married in Italy last year, and their new addition will add to their blended family, which include Kourtney’s three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight, and Travis’ children Alabama Luella, 17, Landon Asher, 19, and step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with his former wife Shanna Moakler.

The couple had been open about their fertility journey, with Kourtney previously speaking about freezing her eggs and undergoing IVF.
