Boost is a function that operates for 5 minutes and maximises power to the selected zone, providing faster, more powerful cooking e.g. to heat a large pot of water to cook rice or pasta. The Total Input Power of this cooktop is 3.6kW.
Other functions on this versatile cooktop include Pause/Resume function so you can quickly delay cooking without losing your settings should you need to leave the kitchen, and Bridge Function so the two independent cooking zones can be controlled separately or used as a large single zone.

Safety features are also integral to this appliance. Cooktop controls may be locked to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally turning a cooking zone on), and Residual Heat Indicators operate to show which cooking zones are still hot after they are turned off as a warning against possible injury from hot surfaces. Auto Stop Safety Protection shuts down the cooktop automatically should you have a spill or the inbuilt temperature sensor detects an excessive temperature.
