Following on from the popular boys names, the top girls names for 2019 also have a bit of a royal connection.

The most popular girl name so far for 2019 is Isla, according to Nameberry. The Queen’s great-granddaughter is called Isla Phillips.

Princess Charlotte is also ranking in the top 10 names.

While even though she may be fictional, Disney’s Princess Aurora is in third place.

  • I’ve never found my name on any list but it must be somewhat popular. I live in a small country town and there are 3 other people with the same name as me. I admit one is a male but us females all have a different spelling. There are some beautiful names on this list.
