Kahlua has created an espresso martini in a can and we can’t help thinking they must have had busy Mums in mind.

An espresso martini that doesn’t cost the earth and is available in seconds? Yes please!

Kahlua’s canned espresso martini’s don’t require any cocktail making skills or bartender tricks – all the hard work is done for you!

Kahlua’s latest creation is a big winner with Aussie Mums everywhere.

Perfectly Portable

Assuming that you’re venturing away from your sofa, the can is designed to be poured into a martini glass when you arrive at your destination, with the 200ml cocktail made up of the iconic trio, Organic Cold Brew from Kind Coffee Co., Kahlua liqueur and grain vodka.

Whether it’s a relaxed afternoon picnic or a New Years Eve party, the cocktails come in easy to carry packs of four, with each can serving two (we’re taking that as a suggestion).

Velvety Smooth With A Creamy Foam

The Spirits Business reports that the can is the first of its kind, with a smart nitrogen widget inside to recreate the creamy foam of an espresso martini. If that’s not innovation, we don’t know what is!

High Standards At Home

The vice president of global marketing for Malibu and Kahlua, Colin Kavanagh, said, “Coffee culture is booming around the world and at the same time we are seeing an increased demand for a high-standard cocktail experience at home. We therefore developed the Kahlua espresso Martini can to tap into this emerging opportunity.”

It is hoped that the new packaging will appeal to customers looking for convenience without compromising on the quality of the product. While an espresso martini normally takes several minutes to create, the perfect cocktail can be yours in just 20 seconds – and we all know time is of the essence, especially when entertaining!

Where Can I Find the Kahlua Espresso Martini

Available in a 4-pack of 200ml cans, you can find the Kahlua espresso martini at all good bottle shops.

In The Meantime, You Can Make Your Own DIY Espresso Martini

Just in case you can’t get to the shops and you need a couple of espresso martinis NOW, you can make your own really easily. (recipe via Kahlua.com)

What you need:

1 PART KAHLÚA
1 PART ABSOLUT VODKA
1 PART ESPRESSO

Ok, you’ll need an espresso machine and a shaker for this one. It sounds complicated but it’s just a matter of mixing booze with coffee. Shake the Kahlúa, Absolut Vodka and espresso together with plenty of ice. Strain into a cocktail glass to get rid of all the small ice chips. Tip: Shake for like 10 seconds for optimal frothiness.

  • ooooo am very interested in this. I do make my own, but this can would be a great drink to be able to take to parties when you bring you own alcohol and I’m sure it would be a perfect blend of alcohol and mix.
