Hello!

We all know that babies hit milestones when they’re ready, but this teeny newborn is setting a whole new standard!

Mum Samantha Elizabeth has shared a video of her newborn Nyilah Daise in her hospital bassinet, appearing to have the strength of a much older baby.

The video, which has been viewed 45 million times has the caption, “Your daughter is 3 days old and is lifting her head, crawling and talking”.

Nyilah can be seen on her tummy, holding up her head, moving her arms and legs and cooing gently.

The incredible video has attracted thousands of comments from stunned parents.

“When I see babies doing this it makes me think they are evolving because they know they gotta get moving faster,” commented O.G Family.

“Babies born after 2020 are definitely built different,” said Les.

However some had an explanation for the amazing feat. Monique Evans said, “Baby crawl reflex, it’s there for the first 6 weeks and then goes away. It is a special adaptation that allows a baby to crawl to feed.”

@samantha_elizabeth__ crazy, crazy! ???????? #babygirl #babytiktok #18daysold ♬ original sound – samantha_elizabeth__

Samantha has since followed up with more videos, one of baby Nyilah rolling over for the first time and 18 days old, and another of her trying to sit up at three weeks old.

  • The Bauer reflex is present shortly after birth and does disappear again. I loved reading about anatomy, body design and development during pregnancies.

  • Wow, that’s unreal ! Better keep your eyes on her 24/7 !

  • If she’s anything like my eldest boy there is no baby proofing, nothing was off limits and the baby proofing locks were all ripped off the drawers when he was around six months old!. He was able to do what a three month old does at birth, but he didn’t crawl properly until the average age.
