It may be a replica of the popular household vacuum, but it actually works!

Having a child that wants to help out with household chores – it seems like an impossible dream, but thanks to Dyson’s latest offer, your kids will want to vacuum all day long. With every Dyson Cyclone v10 cord-free vacuum purchased, you will receive a bonus Dyson cord-free toy that actually works.

True To Life

The toy replica is designed to be true to life, with kidspot.com.au reporting that it can”pick up light debris and there’s even a debris compartment to empty it all out.” To keep it as authentic as possible, Dyson has equipped the toy with vacuum sounds and colourful balls the simulate the action found in a real cordless Dyson.

Rave Reviews

If you’re not buying your own cordless Dyson for $999, your kids can still enjoy the super cute mini version. A similar model is available from fishpond.com.au for $83, and is already getting rave reviews from parents online. “I bought this for my son’s 3rd birthday. He absolutely loves it…doesn’t stop playing with it. Real sound. And enjoys helping Mummy with housework,” one parent wrote. Another said, “my little girl always wants to help with our Dyson. This is the perfect product which helps her help us without the worry of her dropping our real one!”

We can only hope other retailers consider selling mini versions of household items so the kids can get involved – imagine a mini mop and bucket or a mini lawnmower! Cuteness overload! Hats off to Dyson for coming up with such a genius idea – you’ve made a lot of kids and parents very happy.

  • Having daughters I was always dubious to getting them household appliances as toys, especially cleaning items. I have seem some pretty cook garden toys that look like the real deal – I think they were John Deere brand
