Hello!

It’s no secret that I am a massive Ben & Jerry’s fan. And I’m quite partial to a pint of beer or two. So when I heard that my fave ice-cream had joined together with 4 Pines brewery to create a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice-Cream Beer, I couldn’t believe my bubbles.

The limited-edition Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Nitro Beer is the love child of two planet-loving brands, and has the tagline: ‘good beer that gives back’, with the aim of bringing awareness about renewable energy.

Smooth And Creamy

This ice-cream inspired beer is brewed locally at the 4 Pines Brewery in Brookvale, Sydney and is described as being sweet and creamy lactose infused golden brown with a hard pour style. When poured hard into a glass, the nitro infusion gives the beer a mesmerising cascade of colour and an impressive head with a creamy mouthfeel. Inspired by Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Ben & Jerry’s most iconic flavor, the beer is best served super-chilled – just as any good beer and ice cream should be.

“Since day dot, we’ve brewed beer that we want to drink personally and something that our mates would be proud of. Our Ben & Jerry’s-inspired brew has certainly ticked both boxes. It’s truly a good beer that gives back, and the flavour profile is nostalgic and decadent. For us, we want to leave the world in a better state than which we found it. As each year goes on, we’re working to become a sustainable and community-minded brewery that can make a difference,” said Andrew Tweddell, Head Brewer, 4 Pines.

Go Solar

These two sun-loving brands have joined forces with Australia’s first community-owned power company, Enova Community Energy, to support a solar installation for a community group. Enova will be seeking expressions of interest from community groups who are interested in receiving funding for solar installations from this partnership.

Where To Get This Unique Beer

The limited-edition nitro beer will be sold as single cans, or in packs of four 330ml cans or cartons of 24 while stocks last. It will also be available on tap in selected venues, and pouring at this year’s GABS Craft Beer & Cider Festival in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

  • Um, no! This sounds like such a weird combination. I love a shandy – beer and lemonade. But this looks like a Spider Beer!!

  • I don’t think this should be made as I feel that it would make kids want to drink it so sending the wrong message to children that beer is ok to drink it as it has cookies and cream. Very bad item to make in my opinion and I have no intention to try it.
