Post Malone is a dad – casually revealing that he’s welcomed a baby girl with his fiancée.

The Grammy-nominated artist is currently promoting his upcoming Twelve Carat Tour, and as part of his media commitments he sat down with controversial radio announcer Howard Stern on The Howard Stern Show. Post, whose real name is Austin Post, was asked about his daily routine, and he explained that he had woken up at 2.30pm that day.

“(At) 2:30 in the afternoon, I went and I kissed my baby girl,” Malone said. Howard then asked, “Are you referring to your girlfriend or you have a baby?”

“No, that’s my daughter,” Post explained.

When Howard said that he’d been keeping the baby’s birth quiet, Post replied, “Yeah, I want to let her make her own decisions.”

The singer also confirmed that he and his partner were engaged, referring to her as his ‘fiancée’.

Post first confirmed the news that he was expecting his first baby in a statement to PEOPLE in May: “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad. Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”

He hasn’t identified his long-term girlfriend publicly.
